On a lighter note, thanks to the wonders of facebook a bloke I went to school with has just got in touch with me again after almost 20 years, and informs me that he's currently touring Mexico as a member of this man's backing band. Who'd have thought that, even with the affliction of having grown up in 1980s Coventry, I could be a mere handshake away from such greatness?
